I am related to Abraham Lincoln. Someone in my family traced our ancestry. My 9x great grandparents were his 4x great grandparents. Thomas Plummer 1634-1694 and Elizabeth stockett 1646-1736 were the grandparents we descended from. Abe’s mother was Nancy hanks, her mother was keziah Wright, her mother was Rachel wells, her mother was Margaret Swanson and Susannah Plummer was the daughter of the grandparents we came from. Another daughter of the plummers was Margaret Plummer and she married a man named Hugh aodh Riley. I am related to the Rileys down to my great grandmother. My grandmother married a Harrelson and that was my maiden name. So, it’s on my dad’s side. There were tall men with big ears, that kind of remind me of Abe, including my dad. I believe it makes Abe my 5th cousin 7 times removed? If I understand it correctly.

Lung cancer is an awful way ro die. You basically drown in your own lung fluid. We watched this happen to my 61year old sister who smoked from age 8 (yes, her and my other sister used to steal cigarettes and smoke them). Both died from lung issues. We had to give her morphine as soon as she gained consciousness because she was choking on her lung fluids. It sounded like heavy bubbles when she tried to breathe. Horrible!

A lot of money was spent but her mother ended up poor after the father’s death. but visited her daughter,s grave for many years. Spooky would be catacombs with peoples bones everywhere.
